Shown here is the complete SUB mount kit for the XR650R using all Black components, including black BRP triple clamps and black Protaper bars. "SUB" mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars. (Note: Black components are special order only, the Scotts standard kit is Titanium in color to compliment the XR's looks). This mounting system raises the bars approximately 25mm. Its an alternative mounting position for those who want a taller bar position and/or to have the stabilizer under the bars to utilize other components that might mount above the bars. If a taller bar position is not desired, a lower bend bar can bring the bar height back to normal position, all of which are available at Scotts. The complete kit includes all hardware and detailed instructions for easy installation. The Scotts complete triple clamps are Titanium in color. This sub mount utilizes the forward mounted frame bracket and linkarm, meaning the tower and linkarm reach out in front of the triple clamp.
