Shown here is the SUB MOUNT (Stabilizer Under Bars), while using the stock handlebars and stock triple clamps. Scotts offers conversion kits for using Oversize bars as well as kits that come with our 5-star rated Billet Triple Clamp. The SUB mounts are made to use Oversize bars but can be converted back to standard diameter bars by using the optional bar reducers, which are shown in this photo. This mounting system raises the bars approximately 25mm. It's an alternative mounting position for those who want a taller bar position and/or to have the stabilizer under the bars to utilize a standard bar pad. If a taller bar position is not desired, a lower bend bar can bring the bars back to normal position, all of which are available at Scotts. The complete kit includes all hardware and detailed instructions for easy installation and takes very little time to install. A nice improvement for the handling of this model. This SUB mount is adjustable, giving the rider a choice of either pos 1, which is 4mm forward of stock, or position 2, which is 14mm farther forward than stock.
