This lower barmount assembly was designed specifically for the Yamahas that use 11.2mm bar mount perches, but have 12mm holes in the triple clamps, causing a sloppy fit and potential breakage. This bar mount kit supplies a 12mm bolt so it fits the triple clamp properly, giving maximum strength at the bar mounting points. It is designed to be used with either our stabilizer barclamp or our individual top bar clamps as the stock top clamps have a different spacing and will not work.
