Shown here is the FWD mounted kit which includes a 5-Star Rated Billet Triple Clamp. Due to the tight tolerances, the new triple clamp is required on this kit. This application requires the damper to be fitted with a plus 34mm stepped link arm. The link arm and puller to remove existing arm are included in this kit.
The frame bracket positions the post out front, allowing easier access to the oil filler hole just in front of tank. The FWD mounted frame bracket eliminates and or requires relocation of the the stock odometer. Our optional stainless odometer bracket, part #TCD-7074-1 relocates the odometer to the triple clamp pinch bolts. You can view this bracket by clicking on the photos tab from the home page. The triple clamp is designed to use Over-sized bars, which are not included in the kit, but can be ordered here online, if needed. Standard diameter bars can be used if you order the Handlebar reducers option, allowing 7/8" bars to be used.
