Stabilizer kit complete — This shows the complete bolt-on Top Mount kit on the early style 640. The kit includes everything you need plus step by step pictured instructions and the Owner's manual. Comes with 3 fully adjustable circuits and is the only stabilizer with a high speed valve. A very nice compliment for this bike's handling. We recommend Sub mount style for the Adventure models. The welds required are 2 very small welds on each side of the frame bracket, a relatively easy job by any qualified welder. Bolt-on kits are available also. Some 640 models allow for our "Triple clamp kit" which includes a billet Scotts top triple clamp and SUB mount. See the sub mount section for photos of that version.Stabilizer kit complete — This version of the 640 Adventure kit includes a billet Scotts triple clamp, Sub mounted Stabilizer, handlebar mounts locating the bars approximately 5mm higher and 4mm forward from stock. This same kit is used by the factory KTMs in the Dakar Rallye and endorsed by Scot Harden and Jimmy Lewis, both multiple time Dakar riders. The kit includes a key adaptor that retains the stock key lock, cable guide adaptor, frame bracket, perches, stabilizer and all hardware including detailed, step by step, pictured instructions. This kit requires drilling out the stock security bolts in the key switch but we provide the procedure to accomplish this fairly easy operation. This version fits only the 2005 and later model Adventures.
