Stabilizer kit complete — Shown here is the complete Stabilizer kit on the winning Baja 1000 450X, using the Scotts Triple clamps and conversion to oversize bars. This entire set up bolts right on very clean and is the easiest to mount. We offer the billet triple clamps in both solid or rubber mounted for this bike. Complete pictured instructions and all hardware are included with each kit. See the other photos in this section for other mounting options.This picture shows the stabilizer kit with 7/8" diameter handlebars, however these bars utilize a bowed crossbar in order to clear the knobs. The stock crossbar is too close to the stabilizer and in most cases the stabilizer needs to be mounted in the reverse position to clear the cross bar. Scotts offers options to crossbar clearance issues by using bars with a higher crossbar, a bowed crossbar or converting to oversized bars with NO crossbar, all of which are available from Scotts Performance as an option. See the next picture for the oversized bars. Each kit includes all necessary hardware, step by step detailed instructions and Owner's Manual. The stabilizer is a serious compliment to this bikes handling and stability. Shown here is the reversed mounted stabilizer, the combination required when using the stock handlebars. The reversed mount is in order to clear the stock crossbar, which is too low for the stabilizer knobs in the conventional position.
