This shows the SUB mount, (Stabilizer Under Bars), mounted on the stock triple clamps. This mounting system raises the bars approximately 25mm. Its an alternative mounting position for those who want taller bar position and or to have the stabilizer under the bars to utilize a standard bar pad. If a taller bar position is not desired, a lower bend bar can bring the bars back to normal position, all of which are available at Scotts. This SUB mount is adjustable, giving the rider a choice of either pos 1, which is 4mm forward of stock, or position 2, which is 14mm farther forward than stock. This picture shows the optional large adjuster knob on the stabilizer. This kit requires oversize handlebars, which are available as an option in the kit, if needed. We also offer bar reducers as an option, to allow standard diameter bars to adapt to the oversize perches, if needed.
