Stabilizer kit complete — Shown here is the XR650L bolt-on stabilizer kit using the stock 7/8 diameter bars and triple clamp. The stock crossbar has a slight 3mm 'bow' applied to it, in order to clear the stabilizer. This kit retains the stock key location and locking mechanism but requires spacing the speedometer outboard slightly to clear the stabilizer. In some cases the oil dipstick ears may need very slight trimming to clear the frame bracket post. The entire kit includes all the necessary hardware, step by step detailed instructions and Owner's Manual.Shown here is the complete Triple clamp kit for the XR650L, using the Scotts/BRP triple clamp. This is a bolt on kit and retains the use of the stock key lock and speedometer mount thanks to our cool little bracket to keep all that stuff functional. The triple clamp is billet aluminum to improve steering and handling, anodized to resist the elements and uses 28mm oversized bars to get your XR650L up to speed. In some cases, a small trim on the ears on the oil dipstick are required to clear the frame bracket post. This is a minor mod and the instructions will help you step by step with any modifications. The stabilizer is a serious improvement on this model. See next photo for the stock triple clamp applications.
