Stabilizer Kit Complete weld-on — Shown here is a photo of the complete weld-on kit for this model. The photo may not be your exact model, but depicts the same basic idea on how it will mount and look. Most models with standard diameter handlebars stock will require bars with a higher crossbar in order for the stabilizer to physically fit in between the main bar and crossbar. Scotts offers a full selection of handlebars also, should you need them. This kit requires 2 small welds to attach the verticle tower to the frame, a relatively simple operation. Each kit includes all the necessary hardware and step by step pictured instructions along with an Owners Manual. This photo also shows the stock triple clamp with the Protaper conversion mounts in place. Scotts makes Protaper conversion kits for most off-ride bikes. Stabilizer kit complete — Shown here is the Factory Kawasaki KX500 Race Bike that won the Baja 1000 on multiple occassions. Pictured is the weld-on tower with the standard Scott's Protaper conversion mounts installed in the stock triple clamp. The small black attachment to the left of the stabilizer was the plug-in for the radio, so the rider could communicate with the Helicopter who was following the rider on the course. Remember the days when Kawasaki dominated the Baja 1000.
