Stabilizer kit complete — This shows the complete weld-on kit with the reverse mounted stabilizer and handlebars that incorporate a bowed crossbar for extra clearance. This kit requires 2 small welds on both sides of the frame bracket tower, that is relatively simple to do. the frame bracket is welded in place just behind the head tube and in front of the oil dipstick hole. Each kit includes all the necessary hardware, step by step detailed instructions and Owner's Manual. The bars are available from Scotts here online. Unfortunately, the bowed crossbar is not available by itself. This photo may not be your exact model but depicts the same mounting configuration.This shows the weld-on tower in place in front of the oil filler hole and still allowing easy access to the oil filler. The weld-on tower is simple to install and requires (2) small welds on each side of the tower, taking a qualified welder on a few minutes to install.
