This shows the stabilizer in the reverse mounted position for more instrument clearance. With oversized bars the stabilizer can be mounted either way. With standard diameter bars the stabilizer must be in the reversed mounted position. The KLX and DRZ are the same bike, hence the yellow tank in the photo.
