Shown here is the complete weld-on kit for the DR650. This particular kit requires handlebars with a higher crossbar in order for the stabilizer to physically fit. The bars are available as an option from Scotts, should you need them. Even though it's a weld on kit, it takes very little time to install. The weld-on tower requires 2 small welds about 1/2" long on both sides of the tower, a relatively easy job. The stabilizer sits very close to the odometer and in some cases will touch the rubber mounted odometer which easily moves out of the way. A minor modification to the rubber turn indicator mount is required also. The kit includes detailed step by step pictured instructions, all the hardware required and Owner's manual. Yes, you'll have to provide the welder.
