This shows the "Scotts Low Mount Stabilizer Kit" that puts the stabilizer just in front of the number plate. This kit requires drilling into the frame where the strut arm anchors. It allows more room in the handlebar area for those riders using computers or handlebar mounted equipment. This mounting position is also popular with some Motocrossers and free-stylers who require larger cross bar pads or have too low of crossbar for the stabilizer to physically fit.
