This kit retains the stock ignition immobilizer function in order to deter theft. We\'ve machined a very nice billet key cover and special housing for the immobilizer. The handlebar location remains the same as stock. If you desire a higher handlebar location, select the other kit listed as +12mm. This is a major improvement to the stability on the Hypermotard. This is the same kit you saw win Pikes Peak aboard the factory Ducati Hypermotard ridden by Greg Tracy.
Please Note: This kit requires a special linkarm, so purchasers of a mount kit only will need that linkarm in addtion to this mount kit, unless you already have the +5mm stepped linkarm. (Stabilizer not included when selecting a mount kit only). (We stock OEM Ducati Ignition immobilizers, should you need another).
