Shown here is the Weld-on kit for the KLR 650. Due to the frame configuration, this bike will not accept a bolt-on. The weld-on kit is very easy to install, requiring 2 small welds about 1/2" long on each side of the frame bracket, normally taking about 30 minutes by a qualified welder. The stabilizer is a huge benefit to this bike due to the spindly forks and flex associated with the front end. It will make pounding rocky roads and long trips much more enjoyable.
