This shows the SCOTTS SUB MOUNT, (Stabilizer Under Bars), mounted to the stock triple clamps and using the stock fuel tank. This kit will probably not work with most aftermarket tanks due to the tab anchoring the bracket. Any tanks utilizing the stock tab may be ok if they mount similar to the picture shown. The cable guide shown in this photo is an optional part available from Scotts. This mounting system raises the bars approximately 4mm and forward 5mm relative to the stock position 1 that the bike comes with. By positioning the stabilizer under the bars, it allows more room for other items on the bars such as GPS units or route chart holders. The complete kit includes all hardware and detailed instructions for easy installation.
