The Stabilizer frame bracket can be welded to the frame or bolted to the frame, depending on the user's individual preference. We do not make any weld-on brackets for Aluminum framed models, only steel frame bikes. Shown here is the weld-on frame bracket, which is more compact and normally stronger, when installed correctly. We recommend it as your first choice when available. It's a little more difficult to install due to welding, but the welds are very small and easy to make. It is also very easy to remove, should you need to, and return your frame to original condition with just a dab of touch up paint. (The weld-on frame bracket is NOT for Aluminum frames).
